What is collected, and when

Only when you send something. Nothing is gathered in the background.

An event inquiry

Your name, email, phone, the date, the city and venue, guest count, the services you are interested in, how you found us, and whatever you write in the message. Used to answer you and to plan the event.

A talent application

Your name, date of birth, contact details, city, sizing and physical details, experience, the positions you are applying for, your Instagram, your headshot, body shot, résumé and any additional photographs — and the performer waiver you sign as part of the form, with the moment you signed it.

A vendor application

Your company and contact name, contact details, city, business type, years trading, website and Instagram, insurance status, price range, travel, sample photographs and a description of your services.

An invoice sent for signature

The document itself, the signature you draw, the time you signed, the browser you signed in, your time zone, your IP address, and which consent boxes you ticked. That record exists because an electronic signature is only binding if the agreement to sign electronically can be shown — under California Civil Code § 1633.5 it is evidence, so it is kept rather than inferred.

Simply visiting

Nothing beyond the ordinary server and network logs Cloudflare keeps to serve and protect the site. No account is created and nothing is written to your browser.

What it is used for

To reply to you, to prepare a quote, to cast and staff an event, to send and countersign paperwork, and to keep the business records the law requires. It is not used to profile you, it is not fed to an advertising platform, and no decision about you is made automatically — every application is read by a person.

How long it is kept

A retention schedule nobody enforces is worse than none. These are the periods, and they are acted on rather than aspired to.

Inquiries

Two years from the last contact, then deleted.

Client records, events and their paperwork

Seven years, which is the period tax and contract records have to be kept for.

Signed invoices and signature records

Seven years, for the same reason.

Talent and vendor applications not taken further

Two years, then deleted along with the photographs and résumé.

Roster profiles for people we have worked with

For as long as the working relationship lasts, and two years after it ends.

Event photography and film

Indefinitely, as portfolio work, under the terms below.

Admin sign-in throttling counters

Fifteen minutes.

Who else touches it

Two companies, both under contract, both acting only on our instructions. Nobody else, ever, and nothing is sold.

Cloudflare

Hosts the site, the database and the media, and filters malicious traffic. United States and global edge.

Resend

Delivers transactional email — inquiry notifications, application confirmations, signed documents. United States.

We may also have to disclose information where the law requires it — a subpoena, a court order, or a regulator. If that happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.

Your rights

Whether you are in California, the EU, the UK or anywhere else, you can ask for any of the following and we will do it within thirty days:

• A copy of everything held about you, in a form you can take elsewhere.
• Correction of anything that is wrong.
• Deletion, except where a signed contract or a tax record has to be kept for the period above.
• To know which categories of information were collected and who they were disclosed to.
• Not to be discriminated against for asking — and there is nothing to withdraw from, because there is no marketing list you were added to without asking.

Write to [email protected] with enough detail to find your record — the email address or phone number you used is usually enough — and say which of the above you want. There is no form to fill in and no fee.

Photography and film

Events we produce may be photographed or filmed for portfolio and marketing use. If you want a media blackout on your event, say so in your inquiry or at any point before the date, and it is honoured completely — no photographs, no film, no posts. Performers agree to portfolio use as part of the waiver they sign, and can withdraw that agreement for future work at any time by writing to us.

Payments

No card payment is taken through this website and no card details are stored on our servers. Event payments are arranged directly with you by invoice; performers are paid after each engagement.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen. Performer applications require you to be eighteen or older and the form enforces it. Where a child performs at an event, everything about them is handled with their parent or guardian, off this website.

If something goes wrong

If information held here is exposed and it puts you at risk, you will be told directly, and the regulators that have to be told will be told inside the windows they set — seventy-two hours where the GDPR applies. We will say what happened, what was affected, and what we did about it, rather than issuing a statement about how seriously we take security.

Reaching a person

Privacy questions, a deletion request, or anything else — a person answers, usually the same day.
